WWE News: Roman Reigns Makes His Epic Return
It’s evident now that Roman Reigns has complete control over when he appears in WWE events according to his convenience. Over the past ten years, the OTC has been crucial in supporting the company through various challenges including battling cancer, which means nobody holds it against him for frequently stepping away from wrestling to be with his loved ones. However, the audience is deeply engaged with the 39-year-old wrestler’s persona and they desire seeing him appear regularly during their usual broadcasts.
When we last caught sight of Reigns on TV, he was being spear-charged through a barrier by Bron Breakker and then subjected to a curb stomp from Seth Rollins. While it felt logical for Reigns to extend his story arc with the latest group aligned with the red brand, this might occur sooner than most anticipated.

In a recent interview with Bill Apter, Joe revealed that according to WrestleVotes, Reigns isn’t anticipated to come back to the company before early June. “The Money in the Bank event is on June 7th—my guess is he’ll be involved in that show,” Joe stated. “He might not participate in the Money in the Bank ladder match itself, but will likely appear at the show around early June when he’s expected to make his comeback.”
This forecast suggests that Reigns might skip Backlash and potentially forgo his anticipated tag team matchup alongside CM Punk versus Breakker and Rollins. It wouldn’t surprise me if this prominent contest ends up being delayed until Money in the Bank or perhaps moved further ahead to SummerSlam instead.
Reigns finds himself in a peculiar spot as he has been at the forefront of the main events for such a lengthy period that it seems he might be lacking new challenges. Maybe his much-anticipated rivalry with Drew McIntyre could finally materialize, or perhaps play a role in John Cena’s farewell tour.
In either case, WWE becomes more entertaining with an involved Reigns participating.
