Miracle Pup: Defying the Odds
HONOLULU (KHON2) — In honor of Wags 'n Whiskers Wednesday, KHON2 highlights Miracle, a dog eagerly awaiting his forever, loving family.
A five-year-old hound mix named Miracle has been going back and forth between the Hawaiian Humane Society since November 2024.
As stated by the HHS, she appeared malnourished and in poor condition, yet through abundant affection and attention, Miracle managed to overcome all expectations and returned even more robust than before.
Authorities stated that anyone encountering her wouldn’t guess at the difficulties she has surmounted due to her charming and endearing nature.

"Her joyful clicks and quick tail movements are guaranteed to lift your spirits. This remarkable lady truly embodies strength," HHS stated.
The fortunate family that welcomes Miracle into their home will not just witness her kind nature and inquisitive personality, but also feel warmth, happiness, and endless love.
She has been awarded the shelter’s Reid Krucky Memorial Fund, so her adoption fee is covered, and she'll be going home with extra treats to make the transition easier.
