All-American Baseball and Softball Tourneys: Schedules, Scores & Highlights

The regular seasons for NCHSAA softball and baseball have concluded, and the conference tournaments are now underway.

Terry Sanford baseball They came close to going unbeaten in the All American Conference, ultimately winning it outright, with their only defeat being against Overhills, which finished in second place. The Pine Forest softball team clinched the No. 3 spot in the ACC, achieving the highest seeding among all Fayetteville teams within the conference.

The American Athletic Conference tournament started on Tuesday, April 29, with the crowning of the 2025 champions scheduled for Friday, May 2.

The schedules for the AAC baseball and softball tournaments for this week have been announced. All matches will start at 6 p.m.

U8 TOURNEY SCHEDULE, SCORES: Gray's Creek baseball and softball teams secure top spots in the United 8 tournament as champions of their leagues.

  • (3) Pine Forest 16, (6) Terry Sanford 1 — Seniors Gracie Miller and freshman Alyssa Vargas each had three hits along with driving in four runs apiece for the Trojans. Sophomore pitcher Aaliyah Roche allowed only one hit in this game.

April 30 - Round Two

Played at Harnett Central High School

  • (3) Pine Forest 6, (2) Triton 4 — In the top of the seventh inning, the Trojans mounted an impressive comeback, scoring three runs despite trailing at 4-3. Sophomore duo Jaelyn Green and Alyssa Vargas from Pine Forest both drove in two runs apiece, while pitcher Mya Harris fanned six batters.
