EXCLUSIVE: Raiders Boost Front Office with Key Appointments
The Las Vegas Raiders have added two new members to their management team: Brian Stark and Johnathon Stigall. Stark will take up the position of Assistant General Manager, whereas Stigall will step into the role of Assistant Director of College Scouting.
Stark and Stigall boast extensive experience with the NFL, having worked within the league for more than ten years each.

Stark has been associated with the Denver Broncos across 13 seasons and now transitions to the Raiders. He initially served as a regional scout for the West Coast from 2012 to 2014, after which he was swiftly promoted to evaluate prospects in the Western Region during 2015. Eventually, he advanced to become a national scout for the team. In recent years, Stark held the position of director of college scouting for the Broncos since 2016 until the previous season concluded.
After spending three seasons as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Yale University from 2009 to 2011, Stark moved to Denver. This move came after he had spent nine years in various roles at San Diego State between 2000 and 2008. During those nine years at SDSU, he served as the tight ends coach from 2007 to 2008, directed football operations and was a recruiting coordinator twice: first from 2000 to 2001 and then again in 2006. Additionally, he held the position of passing game coordinator and coached the quarterbacks from 2002 through 2005.
Before becoming part of the San Diego State team, Stark was the offensive program coordinator at the University of Washington during the 2001 season. During this period, he also assisted with recruitment for the Huskies. Initially, Stark started his coaching journey at the University of Colorado, which is also his alma mater, serving first as a student assistant and later as an assistant recruiting coordinator from 1994 through 1998.
Stigall is approaching his 27th season in the NFL and has joined the Raiders’ organization following 11 years with the New York Jets. While at the Jets, he took on the role of team national scout in 2024, having previously spent three seasons as a senior regional scout from 2021 to 2023, along with eight earlier years as an area scout from 2014 to 2021.
Prior to joining the Jets' scouting team, Stigall served as a scout focusing on the Midlands and Southwestern areas for the Cleveland Browns from 2010 to 2013. Before that role, he had been involved with the Philadelphia Eagles (from 2006 to 2010), the Miami Dolphins (between 2000 and 2006), and the Chicago Bears (covering the years 1999 to 2000).
Stark and Stigall together offer fresh viewpoints along with their seasoned understanding of the game. promising Raiders' organization.
