The Ada County Coroner’s Office has recognized the woman who passed away following a one-car accident close to the Boise Depot about two weeks prior.

Tuyisingize Tuzingizire, aged 31, was operating her vehicle around 3 a.m. on April 15 when she collided with a tree along South Capitol Boulevard. Upon arrival, police discovered her unconscious behind the wheel. First responders had to extricate her from the car and immediately initiated emergency procedures before transporting her to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise due to severe injuries.

"Preliminary findings suggest that the driver was speeding, crossed over the median, went through the southbound lanes, and collided with a tree on the western side of the street," according to previous statements from the police.

According to the coroner's office, she passed away the day following the collision. The official document cited the cause of her demise as extensive trauma from impact and classified the incident as accidental.
