Hunter Biden Shocks Whistleblowers: Abruptly Dumps IRS Lawsuit, Revealing "Everything You Need to Know"
On Wednesday, Hunter Biden suddenly withdrew his lawsuit against two IRS whistleblowers who had accused the Department of Justice of orchestrating an extensive cover-up aimed at hindering the tax fraud probe involving him.
The Biden scion had slapped a lawsuit against the two whistleblowers in 2023, alleging that they “targeted and sought to embarrass Mr. Biden via public statements to the media in which they and their representatives disclosed confidential information about a private citizen’s tax matters.”
The scandal-ridden 55-year-old chose to withdraw his legal action against Gary Shapley, who held the position of IRS supervisory special agent at the relevant time, as well as Joe Ziegler, an agent, without providing a particular explanation for this decision.

The lawsuit has always seemed like an effort to scare us," the pair stated. "Scaring us or trying to get back at us wasn’t going to succeed. Our main desire was to have our say in court and share the full narrative, yet it seems Mr. Biden lacked the courage to contest this matter before a judge.

By choosing to voluntarily dismiss the case, one can deduce who was correct and who was mistaken.
This dismissal occurred roughly a month following Biden’s legal team—consisting of four lawyers: Abbe David Lowell, Christopher Man, David Kolansky, and Isabella Oishi—who submitted a petition to step down as his representatives in the case.
Shapley and Ziegler voiced concerns to their superiors regarding how the government was managing its probe into Biden. Ultimately, they contacted the Office of Special Counsel, a federal oversight body, as well as GOP members of Congress.

Shapley participated in a public interview with CBS in May 2023 , detailing his claims that the Justice Department "delayed" the investigation.
Subsequently that year, the Department of Justice filed charges against Biden following the collapse of his plea bargain and pretrial diversion arrangement with federal authorities.
The tax charges encompassed nine counts claiming that he defrauded the federal government of $1.4 million between 2016 and 2019.

He repaid those taxes subsequently.
Last year, Biden admitted guilt to all charges in front of his dad, President Joe Biden. he granted his son a "complete and unrestricted" pardon .
Shapley and Ziegler’s attorneys highlighted that the ex-first son "dropped his case with prejudice — which means he cannot file it again" and did so "without receiving anything in return."

The attorneys stated, “In response to the whistleblowing regarding the special consideration afforded to Hunter Biden, he has filed this legal action against two distinguished federal agents.”
Shapley and Ziegler were completely justified in their conduct, didn’t require any pardons, and their decisions have now been fully validated once more.
Earlier this month, President Trump initially selected Shapley to be the acting commissioner at the IRS before deciding to replace him with Michael Faulkender.
The Post reached out to attorneys representing the Biden family member for their input.
