'They'll Hunt You Down': Voting Machine Company Faces New Death Threats From Fox Viewers

A prominent voting equipment company recently revealed various threats received by its staff members as part of its continuing defamation case against Fox News.

In its latest submission, Smartmatic claimed that the firm opted to “endorse allegations of electoral fraud despite their personal belief that these claims lacked merit” following criticism from their viewership for projecting Arizona as a victory for Joe Biden prior to any significant media outlets doing so. This public outcry involved President Donald Trump directing his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to contact News Corp’s chairperson, Rupert Murdoch, urging him to rescind the premature prediction.

The firm additionally claimed that Fox News personalities broadcast deliberately false statements regarding their equipment, leading to an onslaught of threatening messages from spectators. A particular threat stated: "The sole means to address your obstruction of Western democracy is to execute your corporate leaders." Another individual cautioned Smartmatic: "Your group will face quite a shock."
